The remains of some Warrandyte homes that were destroyed by the 1962 bushfires were dumped in the collapsed Crown Mine. People cared a lot less about the environment in those days. And they cared even less about our mining heritage. |

Black Flat - Concrete Slab
Ted said that this is a foundation of a former scout camp. Colin said that this used to be the foundation of a Parks Victoria depot. What ever it is, it is located next to the collapsed Crown Mine. |

Mullock heaps are located between the collapsed Crown Mine and the river. A lot of the mullock was taken away to make roads. |
